Beautiful pictures of a beautiful newly wed couple. Dk. Norashikin, an old school mate of mine has finally tied the knot. Browsing through pictures taken by Pg Sofian of their Nikah ceremony, I have to honestly say, Shikin turned out to be a beautiful bride. The location where the Nikah ceremony took place was at the Bride's residence in Kg Perpindahan Lambak Kanan.

There were a plentiful of familiar faces, great make-up artist, a handful of photographers and a beautiful ceremony. On this auspicious day, Shikin wore a beautiful white modern baju kurung, with pink beading around the collar, complete with her tudong and an elbow length veil. Her head attire was topped off with a stunning white gold and diamond tiara.

The Bride decorated her room tastefully. A touch of contemporary, classic and a pinch of romance completed the 'Bilik Pengantin'. Her duvet was the colour of purity and innocence, white with embroidery. Her bed was backed up by a pink wall with decorated organza as her backdrop. She had french windows in her room with window seats, a classic touch of interior design. Her final touch to the wedding bed was the beautiful bouquet of red, white and orange flowers.

Her make up artist was a very popular make-up artist amongst brides nowadays, Ali. Another well-known photo-blogger in the internet world, G-ferro also attended the wedding. Our very own, former DJ Hani from Kristal FM as well as close friends of the bride were also present. The Bride's relatives also attended the wedding as did her cousin, the beautiful Pg Aminah & her husband, Pg Anak Wadood.

The Nikah Ceremony of anyones wedding, to me, is the most crucial ceremony of all. It is the day when the both of you say 'I do' and pledge your love for one another. Pg Soffian was able to capture a very happy moment for both the bride and groom during this ceremony. The happiness that they are finally joined in matrimony and the relief that the groom said his vows perfectly can be seen in these pictures taken by Pg Soffian.

At any wedding, especially your own, taking pictures with your loved ones is the best part. Your in your wedding dress all spruced up and so are your loved ones, dressed to the nines. Sometimes it like they are the ones who are getting married and actually make an attire especially for your day. It just great that they would go through all that effort for you. This weeks wedding focus is on a newly wed couple, the Bride, Rozie Haji Abd Karim and the Groom, Azhan Haji Badaruddin. During the Nikah ceremony, the bride, a lovely Tutong lady, wore beautiful chiffon material with pink and green beading and sequins. Her outfit was topped off with her tudong and a beautiful tiara and long white gold necklace. The brides shoes were satin and complete with tiny white beads that made them stand out beautifully. Her bouquet of choice, fresh yellow roses.

For her Berbedak ceremony, the Bride wore the majestic colour of yellow for her attire and completed with a green coloured songket. On their bersanding day, the couple wore the beautiful colour of baby blue and at their last function they suited up, the groom in a simple blood red cara melayu and the bride, in a beautiful lacey blood red baju fesyen.

I attended the wedding of a very old friend of mine and also a distant relative. We became more of close friends when I started working at Standard Chartered Bank. Her beloved husband has been in her life for nearly as long as our friendship. Dating for quite sometime and only just recently did they finally tie the knot. They had a quiet little Nikah Ceremony at the Grooms Residence followed by a Berbedak ceremony together and ended with their Bersanding Ceremony. The bersanding ceremony was held at Rizqun International Hotel a couple of weeks ago. Now they are settled down but memories of any wedding are always cherished through pictures which last a lifetime. Their photographer, Pg Sofian took lovely pictures and captured the best of their wedding.

And the marriage of another couple begins to take place. As far as I can remember, these two individuals have been dating each other for quite sometime. Seeing them for a distance at places like coffee zone and at one time on valentines day at Seasons Restaurant. My opinion of this couple, please bare in mind that I do not know them but I have seen them around, that they are such a romantic couple. When I saw their pre-wedding pictures taken by David Cheok, I was proved right. I've posted a few of my favourite pictures of them during their pre-wedding.
