Sanusi and Nana
Congratulations and many best wishes to this lovely couple, a relative of my husbands, Mr.Sanusi and Ms.Hjh Ediana who celebrated their Nikah Ceremony very recently. On Friday, August 31st, the groom said his vows in the comfort of his own living in Kampong Tasek Meradun before making his way to his bride's residence in Kampong Bunut for a short, sweet and memorable Nikah & Bersanding ceremony. The Berbedak ceremony of the bride was held in the afternoon of the same friday. She wore a light green songket for her attire complete with our traditional costume jewellery. The groom on the other hand opted for a regal looking golden songket attire for his berbedak ceremony.
For the couples actual bersanding ceremony, they wore light blue songket with a touch of silver and pink. The Bride looked absolutely stunning like a princess as she had her hair in an up-do hairstyle, complimented with her tiara and veil and top it off with her stunning white gold and diamond jewellery. Towards the end of their celebrations, their Majlis Ambil-ambilan took place on the night of their Bersanding and the couple emerged out to greet family members, the bride; in a beautiful lavender lace kebaya and the groom; in a suit with a dark purple tie. These beautiful captured snapshots were taken by a local photographer, who goes by the name God's Gift, a beginner in the world of photography. I wish him all the best and keep up the good shots!
